Location was great. Additionally, the manager was friendly and easy enough to reach for both check-in and check-out (which was very fast and that's awesome!).
The services were a bit lax (in terms of towel replacement, etc).
the restrooms are outside of room....this is the only thing i didn´t like....
Proximatey and price
Seemed over priced. No tv, common shower
My room was on the second floor right above the cafe and the ventilation system of this cafe was 0,5m away from my window. Incredible smell followed me during all my staying in this hotel. Even the clothes in my suitcase absorbed this bad smell.
The rooms were neat and the breakfast was good
The check out time of 11 am was too early
great staff, great location. try out Big Time brewery a few blocks down and UW's campus.
Great little neighborhood outside of the rush of downtown.
The wireless internet was broken the while time we were there.
The location and close to city bus stops.
No TV's in rooms or no bathrooms in rooms.
I really enjoyed my stay at the College Inn. When I arrived, I realized I booked an extra night by accident. This was no problem, and Christopher, the Manager was very welcoming and understanding. I emailed Booked.net and they were also very helpful and made the changes with no extra charges really quickly. After all that, I got upgraded to a bigger room with no extra cost! The Inn had a very homey and comfortable feeling. Being a solo traveler I felt very safe and had a wicked sleep! The location was pretty good, the University District has a load of good shopping and culture, which I really enjoyed. Next time I visit Seattle I will definitely be staying in this Inn again.
it is quite convenient, located in the center of uw campus. The room looks quite old but also comfortable. Breakfast is not bad.
This was much like a european hostel, but nicer. My room was furnished with antiques. The bed was very comfortable. There were many thick towels and the handsoap was luxurious. I came here, because the College Inn is located directly across the street from Gould Hall where I attended a Gala/Reunion, but I was very pleasantly surprised and I will stay here again. The location is convenient to the UW Campus and the continental breakfast was great. I got to read the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal and the local paper too.
There is only one toilet and one urinal in the men's bathroom on the third floor.
1. Near University of Washington; 2. Easy access to/from outside by Public Transports; 3. Near cafe shop, restaurant and shops; Good climate especially in the summer
1. No telephone direct billing to the room no. calling outside the area, it required to purchase phone cart. 2. Required more than one toilet in each floor that ideally every 5 persons required 1 public/sharing toilet
The College Inn is clean and simple and the cheapest place you can stay in Seattle without staying in someplace awful. I'll stay there again happily!
The location was perfect both for accessing the University and the city centre. The vintage air to it was quite nice and cosy but you have to be into vintage...
earliest check-in time was 3 PM, kind of late
